Intimate weddings, aniversary parties and  many other wonderful occasions. The Inn is the ideal venue from fully exclusive use to private rooms for every occasion. We don't do packages that suit us, we make programmes that suit you and make the day one to remember.

The Inn dates from the 16th Century and has that old world feel , with log fires and solid oak beams. Today the Inn is well known for its quality and friendliness of service along with its award winning food and wine list. We offer real cocktails, an array of delicious canapies and can accommodate most themes in one form or another.

We work with you to create menus that will wow the taste buds and blend with your wishes and requirements.  We have wines that are amazing not just in taste but in value- ranging from the world's oldest grape varietal to the world greatest. These are chosen with you in mind and compliment the food to ensure you have the total experience.

In 1718 Iona Kirk and Ewan Lindsay were married in The Inn - a wedding stone above the fireplace in the lounge commemorates this event. Since then many more couples have begun their married lives within its friendly walls.

Whether you are being married outdoors in summer or before the fire, as Iona and Ewan did, in the winter months The Inn is a very special place to exchange vows.

We have a great deal of experience in helping to make your wedding extra special and we can help you with the arrangements from start to finish through the ceremony, the flowers,  we can advise you on menus, supply wine from our cellar, in fact take most of the stress off your shoulders, all you and your guests have to do is relax and enjoy the day
